Main St., Victor, NY 14564. Eligibility: As of April 8, 2008, Entrant must be over age fourteen (14) or older and a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Employees of Sponsor and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (the "Prize Supplier"), their parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, agents or the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) and household members of each such employees are NOT eligible. Subject to all United States federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on February 22, 2008 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on April 1, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries received prior to or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. How to Enter: Two ways to enter: (1) To enter the Sweepstakes online, complete and submit a registration form at the Web site http://www.nextstepmag.com/roadtrip and check off the box for the College Road Trip Sweepstakes. Entry must be filled out completely and accurately with name, address, city, state, zip code, age, phone number (including area code), and e-mail address. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time on April 1, 2008 OR (2) On a 3" x 5" postcard, hand print your name, address, city, state, zip code, age, phone number (including area code) and e-mail address (optional) and mail it to: College Road Trip Giveaway, The Next Step Magazine, 86 W. Main St, Victor, NY 14564 to be postmarked by April 1, 2008 and received by 5:00 p.m. on April 8, 2008. Limit of one entry per person (e-mail address). Drawing: On or about April 9, 2008, Sponsor will select one (1) potential Grand Prize Winner, five (5) potential First Place Winners, three (3) potential Second Place Winners and five (5) potential Third Place Winners in a random drawing from among all eligible and correct entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding. Notification of Potential Winners: Entrants who are notified that his/her entry was selected in the random drawing are "Potential Winners." A Potential Winner is not a winner until he/she has returned all required documentation and his/her eligibility has been verified by Sponsor. A Potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. All Potential Winners may be notified by telephone, postal mail or e-mail ("Prize Notification") during the week of April 14, 2008. If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) days after the first attempt to contact him/her, an alternate entrant may, in Sponsor's discretion, be selected in his/her place at random from among all entries received. Except where prohibited, a Potential Winner or, if a Potential Winner is a minor, his/her parent or guardian, may be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within fourteen (14) days of being notified, an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release (collectively, the "Release") in order to claim his/her prize. If a Potential Winner (or his/her parent or guardian) fails to sign and return the Release within the required time period, an alternate entrant may, in Sponsor's sole discretion, be selected in his/her place at random from among all entries received. Return of any Prize Notification or Release may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. It is each Entrant's sole responsibility to notify Sponsor if Entrant has changed his/her e-mail address or postal address. Prizes and Tax Information: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a voucher (the “Voucher”) from NWA WorldVacations that may be redeemed for one trip for two to any US48 NWA WorldVacations destination (the “Trip”) valued up to $1,800 and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of NWA WorldVacations. Trip includes roundtrip coach airfare for two to any WorldVacations destination within the US48 via NWA and hotel accommodations at a participating NWA WorldVacations hotel. Trip must be booked by January 31, 2009 and travel must occur by March 31, 2009; blackout dates apply. Grand Prize Winner must meet all Terms and Conditions provided by NWA WorldVacations to redeem the Voucher. Total Grand Prize ARV: up to $1,800. If winner is under 18 years of age, winner must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the Grand Prize Winner's responsibility, including but not limited to: round trip transportation between the winner's residence and any airport of origin, airport/hotel transfers, alcoholic beverages, fax, food, gratuities and tips, insurance, laundry service, merchandise, parking, room service, service charges, souvenirs and telephone calls. Grand Prize Winner and guest must travel together on same itinerary. Grand Prize Winner's guest will be required to execute and return a Release of Liability prior to ticketing. Grand Prize Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary travel documents (valid photo I.D., etc.) before departure. Use of Entrant's Contact Information: Any contact information collected from Sweepstakes Entrants, including those Entrants under the age of eighteen (18), will be used by Sponsor for the purpose of Prize Notification to Potential Winners, tax purposes and delivery of any prize. Name and e-mail addresses will also be shared with NWA WorldVacations for a one-time e-mail. In addition, any winner’s acceptance of any prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor and assigns of an unconditional right to use that winner’s name, address (city and state only), voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All entries are subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is available at www.nextstepmag.com/privacy. Miscellaneous: If, in Sponsor's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Sweepstakes, any violation of these Official Rules, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes or none of them, using all entries received as of the End Date. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes may be unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor or its agents. Failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not be deemed a waiver of that, or any other, provision. Release: By participation in the Sweepstakes and receipt of a prize, Winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Prize Provider and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any cause of action, claims, demands, damages, losses or liabilities or any nature whatsoever including, but not limited to, any harm or loss of any nature whatsoever, caused by, contributed to, arising out of or related to participation in the Sweepstakes, the winning or receipt or use of any prize and each winner, or each winner's parent and/or legal guardian, assumes all liabilities for the same. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and Prize Provider are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor does not assume responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, forged, fraudulent, illegible, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, lost, multiple, mutilated, postage-due, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized, unintelligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to entrant's or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. |
