Hi, my name is Aubrey. I am currently working on a project for a class. I have a serious question, and I wuold like appropriate answers. I want people's opinions on this question:
Why is it that people, teens, think that sex is so wonderful, and fun, but they hate sexual education classes? This is me...

I've heard (I really don't care at all) that people don't like the classes because they aren't telling them the things that they want to learn about. Also, where I live, these classes are mostly given on a middle school level. In middle school, people aren't really ready/mature enough to receive the information.
Hope I helped...sorry if I didn't!

Because in sex education class, you learn all the negative and positive sides to having sex. And when teens hear all the bad things they dont want to hear it.Me myself dont mind sex education class, I like to learn about stuff like that,(im a geek like that). Maybe they should find another way to get the message across then sex education class.

Probably because sex ed classes are, in most cases, very, very, very awkward. The teachers obviously don't feel comfortable talking about it, even our school nurse shies away from actually using the term "sex", and most students aren't that comfortable either. We go to school to get a diploma, not to be embarassed by our stumbling math teacher's attempts to explain how people get pregnant. Maybe going to the class wouldn't be so bad if we had more confident people (preferably non-school employees) to lead the classes.
