Today I Feel Like Writing

On a drowsy Monday, when everything has gloom
That is the day I feel like writing.
When my friends are sleeping late, or out on a date
That is when I feel like writing.

I write about things that never cross my mind
Until I feel like writing.
After I am done, I may have fun, and do things
That I otherwise would not do
If it weren't for my writing.

When things are outta control, and I feel I can't go on
That is when I feel like writing.
I stretch out my hands, put on some music,
Take out my brain and soothe it.

Writing is something you have to do on your own.
Writng is something you think about on your way home
From an experience, a tragedy all of the above,
Writing is something I love.

So right now I am breathing, watching the sunshine
Many thoughts crossing my mind
Happy, humourous, humbling, maybe frightening.
Today I feel like writing.
